Thank you Xobni! This is probably the most usable Microsoft Outlook tool I’ve run across yet. It’s powerful interface takes social networking and email integration to an all new level.

Xobni attaches itself as a “sidebar” in Outlook which gives you a powerful interface to your email. By just hovering over someone’s email you now can see their Facebook, Linkedin, Hoover, twitter, and Skype connections. If that’s not cool enough… all their emails to you, attachments sent to them, and their contacts (people they cc’d in their emails) are presented in easy to read modules. No more searching to find the email and/or attachment they sent to you or you sent to them. It’s all there instantaneously.

There are so many great features but the “Xobni Actions | Schedule time with…” element is by far my favorite. I can send a preformatted email that contains all my open times and dates for the week by simply clicking an icon in the Xobni sidebar. This is pure genius. I mean… how many times has someone asked you for open times and dates to make an appointment, right? Nice.

As VP of Sales I am always emailing vendors, clients and potential clients. Triggered by their email address I now have Linkedin information. With a simple click I ask to network with them. Now they see my Linkedin profile and background. Instant credibility. With Xobni it’s easy and simple.

Xobni could very easily be one of the most powerful and useful social networking tools produced yet.
